The Company History
Michael Kirk & Partners Limited were originally established in
1987 by Michael Kirk & Colin Higgs. Both founding Partners had
previously worked for Noble Lowndes International. Originally MKP's
focus was purely Consulting and Full Pension Scheme
Administration (mainly for Final Salary Schemes).
In 1993 Steve Goddard was appointed to promote Administration and Consulting
services further but also to launch
a full client "Advisory" division with the range of services offered
extended to include Financial Services products.
Over the years MKP built upon our success based on our philosophy of providing
and delivering a truly "personal"
service to Board Directors, Scheme Trustees, Scheme members and Private clients.
In 1998 MKP purchased the Profund Systems platform to enhance the delivery of
our Administration services for our
Final Salary (DB) and Money Purchase (DC) clients.
In 2000 MKP extended the range of services offered with the acquisition of Company
Benefits Ltd who are specialists
in Group Private Medical Schemes for the SME market.
In 2005 the MKP Group can boast over 300 corporate clients with Pension Fund
Assets under management exceeding £200 million.
MKP are Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
